Carbon Balance and Growth Adaptation of Contrasting C3 and C4 Perennial Forage species to Increased CO2 and Temperature

กก

Objectives:

1. To quantify climate change effects on C and N banace processes of two perennial warm season forage species differing in photosynthetic pathway.

2. To quantify the long-term effects of elevated temperature at ambient and elevated CO2 on photosynthesis, respiration, growth, nutritive value, assimilate portioning, rhizome growth, and carbohydrate storage dynamics in rhizome/stolons in two perennial warm-season species.
